Life frequently demands more and more of us and can often have a negative effect on our emotional wellbeing, individual counselling can provide you with the tools needed to achieve and maintain emotional wellbeing in life.
When it comes to individual therapy, I work with you one-on-one. Methods I use among others include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical behavioural therapy). By making use of CBT you are able to learn to recognise your behaviour patterns and identify the thought process behind your decisions. Through challenging decisions, you will enable yourself to re-establish control in your life. As for DBT - The term "dialectical" comes from the idea that bringing together two opposites in therapy -- acceptance and change -- brings better results than either one alone.
It is my goal to work with you and provide you with objective counselling and support throughout the duration of your therapy, helping you to reach a state of personal growth and maintain your emotional wellbeing.
